Endo1800 Fund-raiser Ride

The Endo-1800 is an Iron Butt Association Bunburner Gold ride to raise funds for Mitch Palmer; a friend to many in the riding community. During the wee hours of Sunday morning, the 7th of September, Mitch was involved in a serious accident while participating in the Cal24 endurance rally. He encountered 3 feral pigs on Highway 41 near Cholame, Ca. He impacted and killed two of the pigs. The motorcycle flipped an unknown number of times tossing Mitch into the air. He landed on his right arm and right hip, shattering his pelvis. After major surgeries to repair Mitch’s hip and pelvis at Stanford Hospital, he has finally returned to his home as of the 21st of September.

Both Mitch and his wife are self employed, and with the long road to recovery ahead, they are going to be facing some tough times financially. Anyone who knows Mitch, knows that he’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet; and one that would go out of his way to help anyone in need.

The Ride!

The Endo-1800 is an Iron Butt Association Bunburner Gold ride to raise funds for Mitch Palmer; and help him and his family make it through the many months of recovery ahead.

On Wednesday, September 24th, I’ll be riding from Denver, Colorado to Gerlach, Nevada, via an 1800 mile route, in under 24 hours. I’m asking for sponsorships of a mere 2 cents donation per mile, which translates to $36. Of course, more is always appreciated! If you’d like to make a donation to support this fund-raiser ride, please use the “Donate” button on the right hand side of the page.

Note: All donated funds will go to Mitch and family – the cost of the ride will be covered by myself.
